After three, we hid from the cars in the bushes by the park. It’s getting late, I’ve got to go home and get inside while it’s still dark. We grow older, the sense of adventure fades. Dawn draws closer and dims the plans we made, in the dead of night.

Power pop is a pretty formulaic genre -- a glorious formula, but still, predictable enough that lots and lots of bands can pull off a "perfect" blend of melody, harmony, jangle and crunch a time or two in the course of their careers. But I can't name another record that hits the magic spot EVERY SINGLE TRACK. This is so f$%#ing good.
